At least 14 individuals died after a bus carrying pilgrims veered off a freeway and rolled down a steep slope in central Nepal Sunday, officers stated, the most recent lethal visitors accident within the Himalayan nation.
(*14*) stated the bus carrying 32 passengers plunged 70 metres (230 ft) onto a decrease stretch of the winding highway in Sindhupalchowk district, round 80 kilometres north-east of the capital Kathmandu.
“We have recovered the bodies of 12 passengers from the accident,” police officer Prajwal Maharjan advised AFP, including that two others had died in hospital.
