Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has mentioned that Nigeria wants a reputable chief regardless of tribe and faith to pilot the affairs of the nation.
Fintiri, who can also be the Chairman of the PDP National Convention Organising Committee, said this on Tuesday throughout an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

The governor additionally reacted to the connection between him and ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

To Governor Fintiri, the previous Vice President is a “leader to everybody in the PDP, he is our last presidential candidate and if given the opportunity again, I will support him.”
On whether or not Abubakar would be part of the 2023 presidential race, the governor neither confirmed nor denied it.
