The arraignment of the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bamidele Oleyeloogun at an Ondo State High Court on Tuesday has been stalled.
This is owing to the absence of the Counsel to the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in court docket
The EFCC had in March 2021 detained Oleyeloogun and the Clerk of the Ondo State House of Assembly, the Lawmaker representing Akoko South-West Constituency 1, Felemu Bankole for alleged N2.4 million fraud.

Two civil servants hooked up to the House of Assembly; Olusegun Kayode and Afolabi O. J. have been additionally detained over the alleged fraud.
