BREAKING: Houses Burnt As Explosion Rocks Abule Ado In Festac


A pipeline explosion has occurred on the Abule-Ado space round Festac city in Amuwo Odofin native govt space of Lagos state.

The huge blast has reportedly rocked neighbouring areas, sparking a large blaze that has destroyed close by buildings together with a faculty.

Plumes of smoke have been seen rising into the sky, however our correspondent on the scene says the world has been cordoned off.

An eyewitness advised our correspondent tipper offloading sand caught hearth, which unfold to a close-by pipeline, triggering the blast.

The director-general of LASEMA Dr Femi Osanyintolu confirmed that the pipeline had earlier been vandalized by unknown individuals.

Many close by homes have been destroyed by the blaze whereas the explosion broken buildings across the space and its environs.

The Lagos State Fireplace Service says there are buildings on hearth in Ado Soba, Abule-Ado, and Amuwo-Odo.

The chairman of the native authorities space, mister Valentine Buraimoh advised Channels Tv on the telephone that some youngsters have been rescued from the collapsed college constructing.
