BREAKING: Security Operatives Storm Kano Emir’s Palace After Sanusi’s Removal

A workforce of safety operatives on Monday stormed the palace of the Emir of Kano in Kano State.

This adopted the elimination of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, from workplace by the state authorities.

The workforce of safety personnel on the conventional ruler’s palace included males of the Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Sanusi’s elimination was introduced by the Secretary to the State Authorities, Usman Alhaji, in the course of the State Government Council assembly held on the Authorities Home in Kano.

In accordance with Alhaji, the choice to take away the standard ruler was on account of his alleged constant refusal to abide by directions given to him by the state authorities.

 

Elsewhere, there have been experiences of a rowdy session within the Kano State Home of Meeting shortly after the announcement of the emir’s elimination.

In a video trending on social media, Monday’s plenary was when a bunch of lawmakers within the chamber clustered collectively in what gave the impression to be a battle over the mace within the legislative chamber of the Home.

The mace was later taken away from the chamber by a person believed to be the clerk of the Home.

Sanusi’s elimination comes one week after the Kano State Public Grievance and Anti-Corruption Fee had summoned the Emir.

He was requested to reply to a petition accusing him of promoting lands belonging to the Kano Emirate to the tune of N2 billion.

The standard ruler had, nevertheless, secured a restriction order from a court docket to cease the fee from investigating him.
