Buhari, Osinbajo Have Been Earning Half Salaries – Adesina

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have been receiving half of their month-to-month salaries earlier than the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Particular Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, disclosed this throughout an interview on Politics Right now.

“Already, the President and the Vice President are earning 50 per cent of their salaries, they are not earning 100 per cent,” he said on Tuesday in the course of the Channels Tv political programme.

Adesina defined that each leaders opted to be paid half of their salaries because the inception of the current administration in 2015.

Though he didn’t disclose what function the unpaid halves have been used for through the years, he believes each leaders have performed nicely and might be making donations to deal with coronavirus at their very own will.
