Court Dismisses Suit Challenging Dissolution Of Zamfara APC Exco

The Federal High Court sitting in Gusau has dismissed the swimsuit filed by 10 former Local Government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) loyal to a former Zamfara State Governor, Abdul’Aziz Yari.

One Abdulaziz Danmaliki and 9 others had instituted the swimsuit in July to problem the dissolution of the state’s caretaker committee of the occasion by the Gov Mai Mala Buni-led APC National Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

Ruling on the case on Friday, Justice Aminu Bappa stated the Federal High Court has no jurisdiction over the interior affairs of a political occasion.
