DMW Records boss, Davido Adeleke has lambasted the Ugandan police for retaining two Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems in their custody.
Omah Lay and Tems had been arrested on the thirteenth of December in Uganda for violating the nation’s COVID-19 security measures and has since been in the custody of the Ugandan police.
In reaction to their prosecution, Davido took to social media to name out the nation’s police power. According to the FEM crooner, these artistes have been simply on the lookout for a way to put meals on their desk.
“Omo this Ugandan P, how can we help? What can we do? Artists just tryna eat! They didn’t bargain for this @PoliceUg !!!!! BIG CAP!!,” O.B.O wrote.
