The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has sworn in six lawmakers.
Gbajabiamila inaugurated the members into the decrease chamber of the National Assembly throughout plenary on Wednesday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The lawmakers, together with the previous Majority Leader of the House, Ado Doguwa, have been sworn in following their victories within the rerun and supplementary elections carried out on Saturday final week by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Following his induction into the chamber, a majority of the lawmakers agreed to return Doguwa because the Majority Leader of the House.
Earlier, Gbajabiamila introduced the presence of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, in addition to Senator Barau Jibrin and Senator Kabiru Gaya within the House for the inauguration ceremony.
He known as on the House Deputy Leader, Peter Akpatason, to maneuver a movement to droop the House guidelines to permit the company who got here to witness the occasion.
