(*28*) Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) train will resume on June 28 throughout the nation, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has stated.
INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, introduced the date for the resumption of the train on Thursday at a press briefing held on the fee’s headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
He disclosed that the electoral umpire has put aside the Direct Data Capture Machine, and would introduce a brand new machine being developed by its in-house software program engineers.
Professor Yakubu defined that the brand new machine – known as INEC Voter Enrolment Device (IVED) – was developed to be suitable with the android working system.
