The Kano State Government says it has concluded plans to combine the Almajiri kids, who represent the over 40% of college kids in northern Nigeria, into formal fundamental schooling.
The state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje stated this at a three-day retreat organised over the weekend in Kaduna State, for members of the state govt council.
He decried the excessive price of out of college kids in Kano, whereas attributing it to an inflow of youngsters from different neighbouring states for the reason that authorities’s declaration of free schooling.

He, nevertheless, reiterated that out of college kids will proceed to benefit from the free schooling coverage of the state authorities from the first to secondary college degree.
