Kevin De Bruyne Insists Manchester City Must Be Wary of Wounded Manchester United

Kevin De Bruyne admits Manchester City must be cautious of the menace posed by Manchester United because the Red Devils try and bounce again from their midweek Champions League exit.

United suffered a 3-2 loss to RB Leipzig on Tuesday night to consign them to the Europa League, and there’s no let up for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s facet as they face rivals City within the Manchester derby on Saturday.

De Bruyne admits City should be cautious as they face a United facet with some extent to show following the occasions of midweek.

“We need to try to get an advantage with the chances we have and we need to be careful because given everything that has happened this week, it is a good game for them to flick the switch,” the City midfielder stated (through the Daily Mail).

“They will want to show a different side to what happened in Leipzig and we need to be aware of that. The derby has become bigger with us doing so well and battling for titles. I don’t think anyone needs to tell any player how important the derby is.”
