LA Galaxy reveal new throwback ‘Community Kit’ ahead of 2021 MLS season

LA Galaxy have dropped their new adidas ‘Community Kit’ ahead of the 2021 MLS common season, in a nod to 1 of the membership’s iconic jerseys of yesteryear.

The stylish inexperienced and black striped shirt options golden trim and pays homage to Galaxy’s historical past and multicultural following, notably reflecting on their time taking part in on the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.

Galaxy plied their commerce on the historic Rose Bowl between 1996 and 2002.

“We are excited to unveil the LA Galaxy Community Kit that will serve as our secondary kit for the next two seasons,” mentioned LA Galaxy president Chris Klein.

“We are the club of champions in the city of champions and this classic jersey design pays tribute to that. We are proud of our history and hope our fans love the progressive spin on this retro-inspired kit.”

The shirt attracts inspiration from the kits Galaxy wore between 1997 and 1999, which each featured the inexperienced and black stripes within the glory days when the membership title was emblazoned throughout the entrance of the jersey as a substitute of a sponsor.

In a press release, David Beckham’s former membership added: “The Community Kit is a celebration of the fans who have been with the club since day one. The name of this kit celebrates the club’s history, the vibrant community of supporters and the spirit of the city of Los Angeles.”

The design includes a new LA quasar mark on the again of neck. Both the 2021 dwelling and away kits will once more show 5 stars on the jersey to characterize the LA Galaxy’s report 5 MLS Cups received in 2002, 2005, 2011, 2012 and 2014.
