Lagos Discharges 22 Recovered COVID-19 Patients

The Lagos state authorities says it has discharged 22 extra COVID-19 sufferers from its amenities after they examined adverse for the virus.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu introduced the information on Saturday, his chief spokesman, Gboyega Akosile, stated in a tweet.

The 22 individuals embody eight females and 14 males, all of who’re Nigerians.

They had been discharged from isolation amenities at Yaba, the Lagos College Educating Hospital and Lekki.

“The patients, 19 from Lagos University teaching Hospital, two from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and one from our Isolation facility at Lekki were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings,” the Governor stated.

Sanwo-Olu implored Lagos residents to proceed to adjust to well being measures corresponding to the usage of face-masks, social distancing and common hand-washing.
