Lagos Discharges 42 More COVID-19 Patients

The Lagos state authorities says it has discharged an extra 42 coronavirus sufferers from its isolation amenities after they examined unfavorable twice for the virus.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement on Friday, in accordance with a tweet by his spokesman, Gboyega Akosile.

This brings the variety of COVID-19 instances efficiently managed within the state to 448.

As of Thursday night, Lagos had recorded 1,491 COVID-19 instances, in accordance with the Nigeria Centre for Illness Management.

Of the 42, 22 are male and 20 females.

All newly discharged sufferers are Nigerians.

In keeping with the Governor, 32 of the sufferers had been discharged from Eti-Osa (Landmark) isolation centre, eight from Lekki and two from Onikan.
