The Supreme Court of Nigeria is at the moment listening to the enchantment filed by Senator Heineken Lokpobiri towards David Lyon.
Lokpobiri is contending that he’s the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) main election held on September 4 for the 2019 Bayelsa Governorship election.

Lokpobiri who’s a former Minister of State for Agriculture had approached the courtroom, asking it to declare him, and never Lyon the genuine candidate of the APC.
He instructed the courtroom that the governorship main performed by the APC in Bayelsa State was not performed in compliance with the rules and the structure of the occasion, and subsequently, concluded that the occasion had no candidate.
However, the Court of Appeal, in Port Harcourt, upturned the High Court’s resolution final month, declaring that the APC had a candidate within the governorship election.
