The Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Company (NNPC) on Friday mentioned it was commiserating with households of the victims of a gas tanker hearth incident at Obalende space of Lagos.
In an announcement signed by NNPC spokesman, Kennie Obateru, the company mentioned it wished all people who sustained accidents within the incident fast restoration.
Earlier on Friday, a gas truck belonging to NNPC’s petroleum merchandise retail affiliate, NNPC Retail Restricted, was concerned in a street accident whereas conveying petrol, the NNPC assertion mentioned.
The company defined that each one the injured from the incident had been rushed to the hospital whereas additional investigation is on to find out the accident’s trigger.
The mishap, which occurred round 5 pm led to an inferno which consumed the petrol-laden truck in entrance of a hospital and fuel station, NNPC mentioned.
