Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Tuesday signed the invoice establishing the State Safety Community Company, code-named Operation Amotekun into regulation.

The governor signed the invoice in model as he was clad in a leopard pores and skin outfit.

Additionally clad within the important leopard pores and skin outfit had been the deputy governor, Rauf Olaniyan; Speaker of the State Home of Meeting, Adebo Ogundoyin; and different prime authorities officers.

The invoice was signed on the govt council chambers within the Governor’s workplace in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Makinde through the signing mentioned, “history has been made as Oyo State joins other southwest states to have the Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn law in force.”

Leopard is important in it the brand of the Amotekun safety outfit.

The Oyo State Home of Meeting had earlier handed the invoice establishing the state safety community company.

The Invoice was handed final week, after a presentation of the report of the Home Committee on Safety and Particular Duties on the plenary.
