Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Tukur Buratai joined different dignitaries to attend the 2020 Lagos City Marathon.
The race, which kicked off within the early hours of Saturday on the National Stadium, Surulere, took contributors by the Lekki roundabout by the Ikoyi-Lekki hyperlink bridge as much as the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island, which was the ending level.
In the lads’s class, Kenya’s David Tumo got here first after breaking the Marathon’s report ending after two hours, 10 minutes and 23, whereas Debeko Dakamo and Paul Chege got here second and third respectively on the fifth version.
Also, Kenya’s Cherop Sharon Jemutai grew to become the primary feminine to cross the end line, whereas Kebene Urisa got here second and Tanui Jekporir emerged third within the feminine class.
The first, second and third positions went house with the money prizes of $50,000; $40,000 and $30,000 respectively.
