Governor Bello Matawale of Zamfara state has promised to distribute 200 Hilux autos and 190 bikes to safety operatives within the state to spice up the continuing combat in opposition to banditry in some elements of the state.
The governor made the promise whereas inspecting a big cache of arms and ammunitions willingly surrendered by repentant bandits on the headquarters of Operation Hadarin Daji in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital.

The governor who was obtained by the Power Commander of Operation Hadarin Daji and the Basic Officer Commanding (GOC) eight Division Nigerian Military, Brigadier-Basic Aminu Bande to examine the recovered weapons in addition to another objects captured by the troops, counseled the resilience of the Nigerian Military and promised to assist them within the combat in opposition to banditry which now has a coverage of carrot-and-stick strategy.
