House of Representatives has handed a decision mandating the Minister Of State For Labour Festus Keyamo (SAN), to remain motion on the deliberate January 2021 implementation of the Special Public Works Programme of the Federal Government.
The reps handed the decision on Tuesday, saying the programme is not going to be applied till a complete record of beneficiaries from the Nigerian directorate of employment is made obtainable.
The House can also be condemning the removing of the Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and calling for his rapid reinstatement.
Before his removing, the NDE DG had publicly claimed that the company had not been carried alongside by the Minister of State over the implementation of the programme.
The movement was moved by consultant Olajide Olatunbosun.
The House says the president was ill-advised to sack the DG who was merely insisting on following the appropriate procedures.
More to comply with.
