(*10*)French midfielder Franck Ribery will likely be sidelined for 10 weeks after present process surgical procedure on his proper ankle, his membership Fiorentina confirmed on Saturday.
Ribery, 36, needed to be helped off the pitch after a conflict with Lecce midfielder Panagiotis Tachtsidis on November 30.
The veteran underwent joint stabilisation surgical remedy in Germany and it “succeeded perfectly,” the membership mentioned.
The former Bayern Munich participant will return to Florence on Sunday, to start physiotherapy remedy and in two weeks time the lively work will start.
“Ribery’s return to normal activity is expected in about 10 weeks,” the membership added.
