Sanusi’s Lawyers Threaten Legal Action, Give Authorities 24 Hours To Release Him

 

Attorneys of the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi (II), have threatened to take authorized motion if the state authorities don’t launch him throughout the subsequent 24 hours.

The attorneys mentioned this whereas briefing journalists on Tuesday in Abuja whereas the emir was being moved from Loko Growth Space of Nasarawa State to Awe Native Authorities Space.

This comes barely 24 hours after the Kano State Authorities eliminated Sanusi as Emir of Kano.

The Secretary to the State Authorities, Usman Alhaji, made the announcement throughout the State Government Council assembly which held on the Authorities Home in Kano.

Alhaji defined that the state authorities took the choice to take away the standard ruler over allegations of constantly refusing to abide by directions given to him.

In keeping with him, the elimination was consistent with the advice of the Kano State Public Criticism and Anti-Corruption Fee which had summoned the emir.

The fee had requested the standard ruler to reply to a petition accusing him of promoting lands belonging to the Kano Emirate to the tune of N2 billion.

However in paperwork obtained by Channels Tv and signed by the chairman of the fee, Sanusi was accused of obstructing the investigation of the fee by securing a restriction order from a court docket.
