Security: Take The Battle To These Criminals, Gbajabiamila Tells Service Chiefs

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has requested the armed forces to take the battle to the criminals of their hideouts, in a bid to deal with the safety challenges within the nation.

He acknowledged this on Wednesday when he met with the service chiefs and the joint House Committees on ‎Defence, Army, Navy and Air Force on the National Assembly complicated in Abuja.

Those current included Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.

The assembly comes one week after the House and the Senate devoted a complete day to debate the difficulty of insecurity within the nation, with the lawmakers calling for the resignation of the service chiefs.
