Sunshine Stars Players Protest Unpaid Salaries

Players and officers of Sunshine Stars Football Club have taken to the streets of Akure, the Ondo State capital to protest the poor dealing with of the crew by the state authorities.

The protest grounded business actions within the state capital because the gamers and officers marched from the stadium to the governor’s workplace to register their grievances.

According to the gamers and officers, they’re being owed about six month’s wage and match bonuses.

Led by the Team Captain, Mr Abe Sunday the gamers additionally took their protest to the doorway of the Governor’s workplace in Akure.

They appealed to the federal government to resolve the problem because it has affected their efficiency within the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who added addressed them assured that their grievances might be addressed.
