The Particular Strike Pressure on Social Miscreants has arrested one Sikiru Samuel and eight others suspected to be members of Aiye Confraternity in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
Based on a press release by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, one double barrel gun was recovered from the suspects.
Different members of the gang arrested embrace: Adegboyega Ismaila ‘m’ 19 years previous; Sunkanmi Shonubi ‘m’ a.okay.a Napel 19 years previous; Adigun Faruq ‘m’ 18 years previous; Rilwan Akinwale ‘m’ 30 years previous; Victor Uju ‘m’ a.okay.a Zino 18years previous; Juwon Idowu ‘m’ a.okay.a lighter 18 years previous; Rasak Adebola ‘m’ a.okay.a ‘Bobo’ 20 years previous and Kehinde Keshinro ‘m’ 18 years previous.

He said that the gang has been linked to a collection of violent assaults and gang violence in Imota and environs; one among such is the killing of 1 David Nwanga ‘m’ 30 years previous.
DSP Elkana added that the “suspects had been handed over to the murder part of the State Legal Investigation Division (CID), Yaba for discreet investigation.”
He added that the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has deployed a Particular Strike Pressure on Social Miscreants to Ikorodu, to maintain the continuing onslaught on cultists and different social miscreants in Ikorodu, Imota, Agbowa, Owutu, Ijede, Ipakodo and Owode Onirin.
Equally, he stated workforce of Police Officers from Oke Odo Police Station on patrol alongside Lagos/Abeokuta expressway intercepted some social miscreants at Katangowa refuse dump smoking dry weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
“On sighting the police, the miscreants took to their heels. Police gave them a sizzling chase. 5 suspects had been arrested with one double barrel quick gun and three dwell cartridges. The suspects shall be charged to courtroom,” he added.
