In the 2018 index, Nigeria rose by 4 locations from 148 to 144.
The index ranks 180 nations and territories by their perceived ranges of public sector corruption within the opinion of consultants and enterprise folks, utilizing a scale of 0 to 100, the place zero means “highly corrupt” and 100 means very clear.

The sub-Saharan Africa area was categorised because the lowest-performing area whereas Western Europe was the highest-scoring area.
