Troops of the Nigerian navy have repelled an assault by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Michika native authorities space of Adamawa State.
The insurgents had stormed Kopa and Wurogayadi within the outskirts of Shuwa at about 7:00 pm, leading to a stampede and residents scamper for security.
They tried to enter Michika inflicting residents to flee in direction of Uba city whereas others took refuge in close by mountains.

Confirming the safety breach to Channels Television, the Police Public Relations Officer, Adamawa State Command, DSP Suleiman Nguroje stated the Police have deployed its personnel to the world and every thing is beneath management.
